Loewen high quality, heavy duty Concaves are available for most makes of combines. Made from Grade 1045 high carbon steel, the thicker cross bars, wires and side plates provide greater strength and durability. Wire holes are drilled to provide a tight fit which prevents spearing and trapping of straw. Most Loewen Rotary and Conventional Concaves are line bored. The cross bars are precision machined to a uniform height which provides an even threshing edge for improved threshing and separating. Your choice of Standard, Hardened or Hard Chrome. |

For small grains and fine seed crops. Low Wires provide more aggressive separation. |

For corn and beans. High Wires prevent plugging between cross bars. |
| HELICAL | |
 |
For small grains. Used in the first concave position on Case/IH and John Deere STS combines. Angled cross bars provide more aggressive threshing as material strikes the cross bars at a right angle. Prevents whiteheads and unthreshed grain. |

For corn and beans. Provides a more gentle threshing surface. For Case/IH, John Deere STS and New Holland combines. |

For beans - used in Case/IH rotaries. Smooth surface reduces crop damage and improves feeding. |
| CONCAVE COVER PLATES | |

For Case/IH rotary and John Deere STS concaves. For improved distribution of material across the entire width of the shoe augers. Ideal for small grains. Install one or two on the first concave, and one on the 2nd and 3rd if required. |
| CONCAVE INSTERTS | |

For John Deere 9000 series combines. Concave Inserts improve threshing and prevent cobs with unthreshed kernels from passing through the open area at the rear of the concave. |
| SPRING LOADED CONCAVE SHOCK KITS | |

For Case/IH rotary concaves. The Spring Loaded Shock Kit is designed to reduce or prevent damage to your concaves, pipes and rotor. The heavy duty compression springs absorb the shock caused by foreign objects or large amounts of material going through the threshing area. |

For John Deere STS concaves. Kit includes metric rods and hardware to match OEM installation requirements. |
| KEYSTOCK & SLOTTED GRATES | |

For Case/IH rotary combines. Keystock Grates are manufactured to OEM specifications. Recommended for corn, milo, maize and rice. Helps reduce rotor losses in low moisture and high yield corn. Also reduces plugging in damp conditions. Slotted Grates are ideal for edible beans, most small grains and corn. Additional channels can be installed to reduce the amount of chaff that goes through the grates. |
| GRATE COVER PLATES | |

For Case/IH grates. Recommended for sunflowers and some grasses. The solid grate cover plate prevents stalks and stems from clogging the cleaning system. |
| BACK BEATERS | |

For John Deere, Gleaner, New Holland & CCIL combines. Loewen deep fin Back Beaters provide a more aggressive stripping action and prevent re-feeding over the top of the cylinder. Six and Eight fin Back Beaters for John Deere combines are also available. |
